Update from County Councillor Dan Morehead.

Following concerns raised at Rock Parish Council, I raised this at WCC an am pleased to see that the Highways Team have acted on this and added junction lines at the end of Oak Leaf Rise.

The works here are likely to be undertaken in two phases.

Following years of campaigning for a pedestrian crossing in the vicinity of the Poplar Road junction on Sutton Road, where many residents cross to access the park, Cllrs Nathan Desmond and Tracey Onslow have been successful in getting this proposal to the next stage.

Crestwood Avenue - our model today is Cllr Edward Stokes who is fashioning the new slalom gate at the entrance to the alleyway from Crestwood to Truro Drive.

The gate allows wheelchair access whilst preventing cycling - the perfect solution in this instance!
