Just been down to Beales Corner to talk to the Environment Agency's local team with Mark Garnier. The EA are currently deploying the flood barriers at Beales Corner. This is a precautionary measure and the equipment is all on site on the Wribbenhall side of the River if it becomes necessary for full deployment. Thank you to our local EA Team, who will monitoring the River during this time and commencing these preventative measures to protect the community at Beales Corner who have already suffered so much earlier this year.
