Improved street lighting has now been completed in Franche Road, Habberley Lane and Wolverley Road within the Franche ward. Residents have been complimenting the new lights which make the areas brighter and safer.

Councillors Nathan Desmond and Nicky Gale are delighted to announce that they have secured Speed Activated Signs to be installed on Goldthorne Road to tackle the ongoing problem of speeding traffic.  The issue of speeding cars has been a constant problem on Goldthorne Road and one that needs tackling. Local residents are especially concerned with boy racers and the danger they pose to other drivers and pedestrians.

Cllr Nathan Desmond and Cllr Nicky Gale are delighted to announce that they have secured the necessary funding to have improved street lighting in Farm Close, Birchen Coppice.   Residents in Farm Close have contacted your Conservative Team to ask if they could improve the lighting columns which are very poor.  Both Nathan and Nicky have finally persuaded the County Council to modernise the light columns with much brighter lights.

Your Habberley and Blakebrook team is delighted to announce the demolition of the unsightly buildings at the former Elms site on Habberley Road to make way for a new Wyre Forest Special School and Boarding Provision.  Following lengthy discussions consent has now been obtained to demolish the buildings and the demolition work should be completed by Easter.
