As a lifelong Kidderminster resident, I have always had the best interests of my home town close at heart. For just over 25 years I have been a member of the Scout Association and I currently manage my scout group based on Offmore as well as caretaking the group based in Franche.
During the December 2020 meeting of Kidderminster Town Council (KTC) Cllr Kevin Gale proposed that plans start urgently for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
During a Kidderminster Town Council (KTC) Committee meeting at the start of lockdown in March 2020, Councillors from all political groups agreed that the opening of St George’s Park Paddling Pool was critically important this year (as soon as safe and legal).
Councillor Juliet Smith is delighted to give some of her Kidderminster Town Council Community Funding to St John's C of E Primary School in Blakebrook. Staff at the school are working hard to set up a Serenity Area for the pupils.
As County Councillor for Bewdley, I have been inundated by phone calls and emails from traders and residents who feel utterly ignored and frustrated by the Progressive Alliance led Wyre Forest District Council’s approach to car parking charges.
At a full meeting of Kidderminster Town Council held this evening (Wednesday 10 June 2020) Councillor David Ross, Leader of the Town Council Conservative Group called on the Progressive Alliance-led Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC) to reconsider the removal of the one hour free parking concess
The Conservative Group on Wyre Forest District Council do not support the Progressive Alliance’s decision to not take cash payments in its car parks as of 1st June when charges are reintroduced.
The Wyre Forest Conservative Council Group welcomes the announcement by the Secretary of State, Robert Jenrick, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, that a major package of support is available immediately for our communities affected by the floods due to Storm Denis.
Wyre Forest District Council wants to abolish the One Hour Free Parking in the specified car parks (which was introduced by the Conservatives) in April 2020 and charge £1 for that one hour.
