I am delighted to have been chosen as the Conservative candidate for the District Council elections in May. It is an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to work for all the residents of Blakebrook and Habberley South.
I was born and raised in Spencer Street, Kidderminster, and attended St Johns First and Middle Schools before completing my secondary education at Stourport High School. After finishing university with a degree in Law and English, my career in publishing took me all over the world before I returned to Kidderminster 25 years ago. I work as a self-employed Publishing Consultant for a range of leading publishers and more recently have become involved with the training and assessment of apprentices.
I was elected to Wyre Forest District Council between 2015–2019 and served as Chairman of Ethics and Standards Committee; member of the Licensing and Environmental Committee; Audit Committee; Planning Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Council; and eventually a Cabinet Member.
I have been a member of Kidderminster Town Council since its formation in 2015 and currently serve as Deputy Leader of that Council.
