6th March 2025 World Book Day and Cllr Marcus Hart took the opportunity of visiting Heronswood Primary School. Reading to your children is so important and a great introduction for independent reading in later years.
Absolutely fantastic to pop in to see the Head of School at Heronswood Primary School on Spennells this morning, Mrs Rhoda Pierpoint to have a catch up and see some of the books that I have funded from my devolved councillors divisional funding. What better day to do this than World Book Day. I am pleased also to make a contribution to the new goal posts and look forward to going back in the summer term to take a look.
It was great to chat through issues and it is great we have an Ofsted rated Outstanding school here on Spennells.
I am pleased to have also supported Spennells Brownies.
