A number of people have contacted me recently about the steps and loose cobblestones/tarmac on Severn Side South and also the damaged railings on Red Hill.
I have received agreement for these steps to be fully restored along with the loose cobble stones and tarmac fill ins on Severn Side South to bring back them back to the heritage standard of the Town. Where these works require traffic interventions, they will be completed after the bridge is open.
I reported the railings after they were damaged but have arranged for them to be repaired once the bridge is open as there will be a need for workers to be on the road and therefore some traffic lights in place. Highways have this job on the works programme ready to go!
