David Ross, the County Councillor for St Barnabas, has been contacted by residents in both Wilton Avenue and Chestnut Grove regarding dangerous and illegal parking during the school drop off and pick up times. Some parents walking their children to school have suffered verbal abuse from drivers who have been asked to park in a more responsible manner.
There are also reports of cars going the wrong way out of Chestnut Grove to avoid the queuing traffic. David has asked for a meeting with the school and has reported the illegal exiting from Chestnut Grove to the Police for them to look into.
