Nathan Desmond, County Councillor for St Mary's is delighted to see that pavement resurfacing project for Hoo Road is now finished and makes a massive difference
The project took 3 full weeks to complete, which included digging out and removing all the slabbed areas which were dangerous and unsightly. The new pavement is much wider and safer for pedestrians to use.
The project was largely funded through his devolved Highways budget and topped up by Highways.
Nathan is very grateful to the residents for their patience as this was due for completion autumn of 2020 but slipped due up Covid and then the Hoobrook roundabout project which took 9 months.
But it’s finally completed and from speaking to some residents on Hoo Rd, they are really happy with the new pavement
