We have been contacted by a number of residents about the blatant and illegal disregard for parking restrictions in the town and side roads. We are working with the Enforcement Team at WFDC to help identify the key times and locations where this is happening and have passed on all reports from residents directly to them.
We are pleased to say that they are planning to increase patrols in the evenings and mornings and ensure they always check the areas we are identifying as hot spots. The team are currently recruiting for a Civil Enforcement Officer and as part of our manifesto we will further increase the number of CEO’s which will be planned into the 2024 budget.
