A456 CONSULTATION OPEN – HAVE YOUR SAY!

Callow Hill 30mph

The proposal to make the 30mph limit on Callow Hill permanent, extending it to Lye Head Road and also to implement a 50mph permanent limit from Long Bank, through the By-Pass and up to the Safari Park will be open from tomorrow (February 13th) until March 13th 2025.

There have been a number of tragic fatalaties along the A456 between the turning to Far Forest, through Callow Hill and on the By-pass. As well as a high number of road traffic collisions.  We need to review the speed limit along the A456.
